12 years of planning events, I think I am starting to lose track! Event Planning started for me in 2010, working for Disney Motion Pictures in Time Square, NYC. I planned Red Carpet
premieres, pre-release showings, and motion picture buzz events around the city, such as a full evening lock in at the Museum of Natural History with celebrity guests. My journey continued, working as a Manager at Walt Disney's EPCOT and Magic Kingdom. Talk about managing A LOT going on at once, at some seriously high volumes, with some seriously strict deadlines, and creating some unforgettable magical moments.
For 3 years, I worked for WeddingWire as Florida's Senior Venue Specialist. I have personally toured every venue spanning from Tampa, to Orlando, to the Space Coast, all the way to St. Augustine. I partnered with local DJ's. Catering, Photographers...you name it.
When it came time for my wedding, talk about STRESSFUL, but I knew it had to be perfect! My rustic, Alice in Wonderland themed wedding caught national attention on The Knot and WeddingWire, and my guests said it was the best they have ever attended. But I spent so much time planning, setting up, and running the show, I didn't really get to enjoy my event - we ain't gonna let that happen!
